General information

Ages offers

RYFSA will have developmental leagues for 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, and High School.

Game / tournament format

Double headers will be played on Saturdays (8U, 10U, and 12U) and Sundays (14U and HS). Games in league can end in a tie and both games will count toward the team’s record. The season will end with a tiered single-elimination playoff. 8U will only play one game and will not have a tournament.

Location

All Fall Ball games will be played the Rochester Youth Fastpitch Softball Complex, which is located at 827 36th Avenue SE, Rochester, MN.

Team compositions and scheduling

There will be no Gold or Silver teams in Fall Ball. Mixed skill-level teams will be created based on registration numbers, friend requests, and projected high school. Games will be scheduled each week to align comparable records. Schedules will be released the Wednesday before the weekend games with rotating times.

No rainouts or rescheduling

Due to the short duration of the season, we will play through Fall weather as safely as possible. There will be no rainout days.
